Mt. Aso
Mt. Aso is the collective name for Five Peaks of Mt. Aso (Mt.Nekodake, Mt.Takadake, Mt.Nakadake, Mt.Eboshidake, and Mt.Kishimadake) and the surrounding outer rim of the caldera. It is one of the largest volcanoes in the world.
From Five Peaks of Mt. Aso, one of the peaks of the northern outer rim, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the five central peaks lined up in a way that resembles a reclining Buddha — a formation affectionately known as the “Recling Budda”.
