Shiraito Falls
Also known as “Yorihime Falls,” this spot is recognized as one of Kumamoto’s top 100 famous waters of the Heisei era. The water cascades down from a height of about 20 meters, resembling delicate white threads. You can get very close to the waterfall, where you’ll be surrounded by abundant negative ions, making it a wonderfully refreshing and healing experience. Recently, it has also gained popularity as a power spot.
